G'day Peter,

Congratulations on your site and the information contained therein. There is however a slight correction in relation to the crew of "George" for the flight out to Australia on 11 October 1944 and the subsequent Victory Loan Tour in Australia. The Wireless Operator for the trip out was Flg Off G.H. Tindale, not Tindall. (now fixed - Peter)

I am the co-author of a forthcoming book on "George" with Michael Nelmes, which was reviewed in the October edition of the British aviation magazine "Flypast" in a 6-page article by Don Darbyshire. The October edition has a B-24 and a B-17 on the cover which may make it easier to track down if you have not already seen it.
